Colourful livingroom make-over
From the very first meeting, it was clear: Marije and Dave were ready for more, there was boldness bubbling beneath the surface. Their home in Vroomshoop had a fresh white base but lacked character. She loved light and airy, he sought warmth and natural accents. The challenge for style icon Roy? Blending their different tastes into one exciting, balanced whole.
He found their common ground in colour. Shades of green and soft pink nuances formed the red thread throughout the mood board. By combining fresh and warm tones, a palette emerged that both connects and surprises. The large, angular living space gained intimacy by creating defined zones using paint and wallpaper.
For the atmosphere, Roy chose our wallpaper from our Magnifique collection. The organic shapes and soft colour nuances give the TV area a romantic, almost dreamy appearance. The design adds depth, softens the sharp lines of the room, and brings calm to the bold use of colour. The wallpaper doesn’t just serve as a backdrop, it forms the foundation of the entire mood.
