Laura's dream home makeover

Laura went from a happy single life to a completely new adventure as a bonus mom. And on top of that, moving in together in a dream home with her love, Aart... This was truly a leap into the unknown for her, but one she was fully committed to. She wanted to create a home where she felt completely at ease, together with Aart and the girls.

It’s impossible to miss; the colour orange is the starting point in the interior. For Laura, this colour represents warmth, energy, and happiness. She decided to apply wallpaper from our Groovy collection on the walls next to the bold orange-tiled fireplace. This wallpaper features a forest-like print, and the playful pattern, combined with the warm tone, gives the space a lively atmosphere.

The deep aubergine colour is also prominent in this interior. This shade is found on the window frames, staircase, and doors. Laura was looking for curtain fabric that perfectly matched the frames. She chose the beautiful linen fabric Mount, item number 7450-26, and let it "kiss" the floor (letting it fall generously to the ground), which is always recommended for linen curtain fabrics, as they can vary in length due to temperature fluctuations. The result? A beautifully cohesive whole.
