Nancy's surprise bedroom make-over

Nancy faces the challenge of transforming a simple white bedroom with charcoal accents into a space where style and tranquility come together. Her sister dreams of a vibe that feels like a five-star hotel. Her favorite hobby? Shopping! The purchases do take up a bit of space, so a practical solution is a must.

The foundation of this makeover is a mood board, the perfect way to bring the atmosphere and colors to life. Two pieces of artwork played a key role and had to find their place in the design: a portrait in warm brown and purple tones, and a unique piece in soft yellow with brown. These artworks became the starting point for the room's colors and overall vibe.

Nancy’s sister loves purple and green, so those colours had to be prominently featured in the décor. No chic hotel room is complete without curtains that add both style and ambiance. Nancy chooses curtains from our Yucatan fabric line (7260-27) in a rich aubergine/purple shade, finished with a single pleat. The soft, matte textured fabric from Eijffinger feels luxurious and enhances the warm, cozy atmosphere in the room. The result? A space that radiates calm, whether it's day or night.
